History-making gold worth over two lakh rupees

The price of gold has been increased again in the country’s market. This has created a new record for the highest price of gold. The price of the best quality or 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) has been increased by 3,150 taka. This has made the price of one bhori gold 2 lakh 726 taka. This is the first time that one bhori gold has become 2 lakh taka in the country’s market.

This price has been increased in view of the increase in the price of acid gold (pure gold) in the local market. The Bangladesh Jewelers’ Association (BAJUS) has announced that the new price will be effective from tomorrow, Tuesday (October 7).

Today, Monday (October 6), the BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee decided to increase this price in a meeting. This information was later given in a notification signed by the committee chairman Masudur Rahman.

Earlier, the price of gold was increased yesterday, Sunday. This made the price of one bhori of good quality gold 1 lakh 97 thousand 576 taka. This was the highest price of gold in the country’s market till date. Now, due to the increase in price again, that record has been broken.

Now the price of the best quality or 22 carat gold per bhori has been increased by 3,150 taka to 2 lakh 726 taka. The price of a 21 carat gold per bhori has been increased by 3,100 taka to 1 lakh 91,605 taka.

In addition, the price of a 18 carat gold per bhori has been increased by 2,578 taka to 1 lakh 64,229 taka. The price of a traditional gold per bhori has been increased by 2,192 taka to 1 lakh 36,445 taka.

Yesterday, the price of the best quality or 22 carat gold per bhori was increased by 2,192 taka to 1 lakh 97,576 taka. The price of a 21 carat gold per bhori has been increased by 2,99 taka to 1 lakh 88,595 taka.

In addition, the price of a 18 carat gold per bhori has been increased by 1,796 taka to 1 lakh 61,651 taka. The price of gold per bhori according to the traditional system has been increased by 1,528 taka to a new price of 1,34,253 taka. Gold has been sold at this price till date.

Although the price of gold has been increased, the price of silver has remained unchanged. The price of a bhori of 22 carat silver has been fixed at 3,628 taka. In addition, the price of a bhori of 21 carat silver has been fixed at 3,453 taka, the price of a bhori of 18 carat silver at 2,963 taka and the price of a bhori of traditional system silver has been fixed at 2,228 taka.
